Aggressive project follow-up ensures no issues keep employees from quickly becoming productive again at the new location. The concept of “Opportunity Cost” is apparent during this process, as our clients and their employees simply do not have the bandwidth; i.e. time, energy, effort required to budget and plan large scale transition projects. Inevitably, something will take a back seat and create problems, either the normal responsibilities of the employee or the overall project planning and execution. Managers that are typically assigned to move projects ultimately have more “value added” tasks they could be performing for the organization. Additionally, internal decision makers and employees do not have the expertise aptly needed to purchase the necessary services and properly manage the various vendor teams throughout execution in order to ensure successful project execution. Relocation Strategies provides comprehensive and turnkey expertise and efficiency for your company and employees!

In today’s business world, constant connectivity and seamless operation requires an experienced Project Manager’s involvement for office relocation projects. Planning for furniture, cabling, I.T. infrastructure, servers and IT disconnects & reconnects. Understanding the day-to-day operations and individual department functions become key to knowing how to best plan for an office shut down, move and re-opening. Relocation Strategies is focused on the comprehensive occupancy and functionality of our clients’ office facility to ensure all aspects of the facility are operating to meet the needs of the employees and their customers.
Productivity and inventory management are key components of any industrial manufacturing or distribution facility transitions. Industrial facilities often require the coordination of not only an industrial moving crew but rigging vendors, racking installers, electro mechanical disconnect/reconnect, in addition to all of the components of an office relocation. Relocating a manufacturing facility has its own unique challenges; some of which include the disconnection and reconnection of water, compressed air and gas lines. The myriad of vendors that are necessary during these projects require an experienced project management team to formulate scope and timeline sequencing to ensure a seamless transition and the ability to maintain productivity at the highest level.
Universities, Government Agencies, Local School Systems and other publicly run entities face different challenges than private businesses when evaluating a transition project. Often, the projects must be completed during a designated “leave or recess” periods, which can generate distinct challenges when executing these projects. Additionally, managing a budget paid for with tax dollars, takes a unique approach to procurement and approval, as well as total project execution. Relocation Strategies approach can ensure that institutional projects are completed within budget and without interruption within publicly run facilities.
Research & Development operations often share the same intricacies and functions as Medical facilities. Many of these operations have Hazardous Materials, Clean Rooms and Confidential Records. Each of which require special handling and customized solutions. Moving Laboratories requires the cooperation of not only a skilled moving contractor, in almost all cases, technicians for individual devices must perform disconnects, reconnects and diagnostics to ensure the equipment performs exactly as it did prior to the relocation. Coordinating these different disciplines is what makes the move of a Clinical, Research or Laboratory challenging.

Businesses within any vertical and of any size rely on Relocation Strategies to accurately evaluate their project options.
